Jaclyn Wilson

Jaclyn Wilson is the 5th generation at Wilson Ranch, a commercial cattle operation at Lakeside, Neb. that was founded by her family in 1888. In 2013, she started Flying Diamond Genetics, headquartered north of Alliance, NE. Along with splitting time between those operations, she has served on the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association board, the Nebraska Agricultural Leadership Council, and ag advisory committees for Sen. Deb Fischer, Rep. Adrian Smith, and Gov. Pete Ricketts, is the current Chair of Resolutions for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association and serves on the Nebraska Humanities Board. She received a 2016 Farm Journal Media 40 under 40 award, and was included in the book Generations on the Land. In addition to her work in ranching and the beef industry, she is an accomplished writer, producing weekly editorials for the Midwest Messenger that circulates to over 50,000 producers throughout the Midwest. She is also an accomplished artist, working in metals.
